Hello,
The feature you are trying to create can be done using the combination of helix and the sweep feature.The attached jpeg shows the features needed for creating the threads. I hope this helps. If you would like to have the SW model sent to you, send me an email address. Thanks.

No offense guys. Thread shown above seems like to be a spiral object. Will it fit with it female parts? It seems more like a drill bit rather than thread.

the sketch should be perpendicular to the helix starting point. then it will look like a thread. right now it is zero thickness.

Oxy..could you tell me how to start the helix from the tip of the cone. I am not getting it.
I have added one model here.

Normally the thread does not start from the tip. It start from a portin bit below the tip. You need to have a circle (sketch) for the helix. Thanks.
