[This is a thread to learn Chinese and to discuss stuffs related to China. If this is boring, dry, jharko-lagne, then you might as well click on other threads, because I know how hard it gets to people who are not interested in the language/culture to go through this thread. believe me, I undeerstand your problems.. Yes, its a real torture, but there are few people who are into Chinese and this being a democratic forum want to disucss, learn, share their knowledge here. Again, a reminder: This can get quite boring and irritating if you are not into language learning. So accept my sincere apologies and click on their threads. There are some really interesting discussions going on, those might help you over come the boredom]

Dear all curious learners:
Sorry about this delay in replying to you guys' queries:
Now, to someone who asked me where/when I studied Chinese:
I studied Chinese in China for 4 months. I went there as a study abroad student and my program had affiliation with Hua Dong Shi fan Da Xue (East China Normal University, Shanghai). I went there without any prior knowledge of Chinese, and when I returned back to the US, I continued my studyy of China and Chinese language, history and politics. And thanks god that I had the oppurtunity to study with some really great profs. at a small school in the middle of nowhere, which influended my thinking and I added a second major of Chinese Studies to my already existing major.
This is my background. And my Chinese isn't that good. I hope this satisfies someone who was wondering as to where/when/how long I studied in China.
Biswoji, and others, you guys have spent more time in China and speak better Chinese than me, and time permitting please post some stuffs relating to labguage, culture, history and politics to this thread. So, that people can learn not only the language but also the culture of our immediate neighbor to the north. This is a request.
Now, getting back to other queries:
I don't know how to say, have a nice day in Chinese. Some phrases of English can not be translated into other languages, and as far as my little knowledge of the language goes.. I don't think they have something like have a nice day in Chinese. But, I guess you can say, ni you hao tian or just hao tian aa! (aa is pncd. aamako aa). Again, this is a translation and don't blame me if your chinese friend thinks you are weird when you say this to him/her.
About, you have big breasts!
makardhowj ji, you mentioned that you studied Chinese in Japan, so, just try playing with the words.. construct a sentencee and you'll get it. Biswoji, probably knows the exact tranlsaion to this, so I request you to pass this question to biswoji, or our own gangster dai, da ge ji (gangsters know more words code words and common words than we ordinary people do:-), hoina ta da ge ji.
Totally irrelevant to those not interested:
da-ge xian sheng ye bishwo xian sheng , ruguo wo shuo, aa! kan kan , na nu ren de liang ge bao, da da (second da to stress) de (wo de shu, de "de") :-), keyi ma?
Wo yi jing wang le wo de hanyu. Ruguo nimen gei wo fu xi, wo xiang wo hui shuo hao hao de.
