i have been in George mason university, fairfax, Va for over four months, but haven't even seen any program (even gathering ) organized by the nepali student group. i even emailed the fellow student named sujan who supposedly headed the nepali students in mason. Other student groups like Indian students union or Pakistani Students union, to name a few, regularly participate in the student affairs and organize different programs of the students' interest. What is happening? If you guys are too busy then you guys should resign from the student leader and make way for other nepali students who are willing and able to do better.
peace

Bro, i go to Mason and i was a part of the Student Union. Name's not Sujan. Sujan has graduated and NSA (Nepalese Student Union) has collapsed in itself. There is not a single Nepali that wants to devote the time fully to the organization. So, Me being the webmaster, i took the site down, deleted the accounts. Currently there are atleast 50 nepali students at Mason. We have tried to get them together by sending them emails. But no avail, they reply back saying, take my name off the list and we don't want to be a part of it. So basically, trying to get together is a guy named Niroj and me (samir). But we have given up as well. If you go to Mason, let us know. Try bringing more nepalese.

need any more info, mail me at sshrest4 at gmu.edu

funny you mentioned the university, because indian and pakistani people are bonded. We, sometimes have seen nepalese student appearing in Indian Students Meeting but never show up on Nepalese students meeting. Thank thats sad?

the picture you put up, was of 2 years ago, during International Students' Association. We had variety of shows, a cultural dance (show), and some nepalese games. The dancers(3 girls) were invited later to perform on a private ceremony the same night. But out of 3, 2 have graduated, 1 is leaving this semester. And 3 more active are out. Leaves Mason with few nepalese that want to bring NSA back up.

I go to PW campus, i haven't been to FX because my major doesn't follow the classes in FX campus.

another thing, Faculty members boast their "proudness" and their activity with President Merten of GMU, during faculty meetings and dinner invitations, but the same Faculty members(advisors, who are nepalese as well, 3 of them) never show up in meetings or even reply emails. they send out emails when they are happy to represent nepalese student association and their reply says something like "President Merten is proud of NSA and what we have done so far."

They add WE when the don't even show their FKING FACE DURING THE FKING MEETINGS.

FK YOU FACULTIES.

sad to hear of all that, i just joined mason from his fall semester. i emailed the guyed listed in the nepal students union. i was equally sad not receiving any email back.
by the way the photo that i included was from this year's international week. i personally took it. i don't know where to begin, but definately we should get together and something about it. you said there are 50 students in mason, 50 is a big number. i can't understand why student would say something as delete their name from the students' list. it's really sad.
well i am sure you too are having your exams this week, good luck.
we will talk about this later.
