Authorized! Don't know. Can't you have somebody (Nepali) translated, put his contact address and notorized it? ( Huh don't know about BS to AD dates though). It works for other papers.

In Nepal, ministry of foreign affairs does it with some charge. I think its NRs. 250 per translation. In USA, may be you can contact nepalese embassy there. I am not sure if they will do it though.

lovenepalalways!!! u are wrong; The kanuni kitabkhana does it!! It is at babarmahak in the street in opposite direction of sadak bibhaag! They used to charge 200 to 300 according to type of paper.
The ministry of foreign affairs then attests the translated paper!!!charges around 200 per paper I think..exactly don't remember..:S

I don't believe they require this piece of documentation at USCIS.. Passport is a sufficient document to prove one's citizenship..

IF YOU HAVE A COPY OF CITIZENSHIP, SEND IT TO NEPAL, ALSO SEND A MANJURINAMA IN NAME OF YOUR RELATIVE TO PROCESS THE APPLICATION AND TO RECIEVE IT.
THEY SHOULD APPLY AT THE SAME CDO OFFICE WHERE YOU GOT THE CITIZENSHIP.
ALSO INCLUDE AN APPLICATION.
I GOT MINE LIKE THIS.

*****

FOR TRANSLATION, YOPU CAN AGAIN SEND A MANJURINAMA TO NEPAL FOR THE TRANSLATION POURPOSE TO A FAMILY MEMBER ONLY. THEY WILL APPLY FOR TRANSLATION. THEY NEED TO SHOW ORIGINAL OR AN ATTESTED COPY OF THE CITIZENSHIP FOR TRANSLATION.

OR, ANY PERSON WHO CAN TRANSLATE THE CITIZENSHIP HERE IN THE US CAN DO SO. THE TRANSLATOR WILL HAVE TO MAKE AN AFFIDAVIT STATING THAT THE TRANSLATION IS CORRECT TO THE BEST OF HIS/HER KNOWLEDGE AS PROVIDED BY YOU. THE TRANSLATOR WILL HAVE TO GIVE A COVER LETTER STATING THAT HE/SHE KLNOWS THE LANBGUAGE WELL, HAS COMMAND OVER IT AND HAS TRANSLATION EXPERIENCE AND ALSO INCLUDE A BRIEF RESUME. TRANSLATOR HAS TO DISCLOSE HIS/HER ADDRESS, CONTACT INFORMATION ETC.

*****

OTHERWISE CONTACT NEPALI LAWYERS ASSOCIATION HERE IN THE US. MAY BE THEY CAN DO IT FOR FREE FOR A FELLOW NEPALI. OF COURSE YOU WILL PAY THE POSTAGE. Search for their address here in Sajha or google. Anyone has the address?

*****

GOOD LUCK !

I once translated my Nepali documents to English from the following Office. They are reliable, they charged me $60 per copy.
