Are you trying to with-hold something that is not under someone's control.

I do. At least some sort of dissolution of power away from the center. I am not sure if teria/pahad/himal are the right structures for decentralization but I would think something less scattered than 75 districts and something more broadly encompassing than pahad/madesh.

My 2 cents.

Autonomy is not a good solution for Nepal.

But Regional government from local people who really know about their people, what their people need and who really want to develop his/her local villages where he/she born. Each District and Zone must have their own governmental and authority power for local development. From Kathmandu’s dumb, selfish, vision-less, moral-less, irresponsible crooks must not control all Nepal.

It will contribute toward racial equality and balance of governmental power. But it was not happening in Nepal since 7 decades.

That must be the best solution for Nepali democratic government, political parties and future of Nepalese people.

If we want to develop in villages and remote area of Nepal, Nepal government must distribute authority and power to local people ( Local leaders) to develope their own village.

Crooks politicians and corrupted, criminal government official who live in Kathmandu...should not control to village or remote area for developments. These kathmandu people do not know what remote villages looks like... how come they have sprit to develope village. These people do not have time for crimes and corruption in city.

Top level - Law, Justice, Order, Constitution ( No one above the law)

Centralize ----- Army, Nepal border control, Parliament,

Decentralize --- Zone and district law, policy, rule and regulation, local development authority and powers.

Well I dont know if you are ignorant or just arrogant, the Maoists raised the issue of autonony at the very begining of their 'People's War' ..they continued to raise the issue as one of their important agendas throughtout. It didnt matter wether RAJA was still there or not.

If other ethnic groups voiced for autonomy then why should Madeshis should not voice similar sentiments ?
