I need your comments and suggestion in the following matter. I go to a community college in the east coast. I applied for economic hardship in the begining of the october. In return i received a blue letter asking for additional evidence yesterday. The part of the problem was that my schools slacking work. The notice of action was send from INS at the end of october. My question is has anyone been applied for economic harship from vermont service center? (If you got you EAD card then avoid this question.) Is there anyone who got a blue letter explaning for evidence and what steps did you took? Since i have to submitt them the document at the end of the january i have very less time available with me. While applying i mentioned that my sponsors dont have enough money and their business slowed down. But i didnt had the exact proff like bank certificate or audit report of the business. What if i dont make it up before the due date? and what if i made it and submitt the documents but receive a negative response. I am assuming the worst scenario here that might be a ticket for me to head back home. Any kind of comments whatsoever are wellcome. Thank you.

Believe it or not, but getting a NOF or RFE is a good thing for almost anyone who applies in USCIS. Once you received the RFE, you can submit it again by the due date. I have realized that you need to file it again after supplying all the supporting documentation. If you fail to submit it by the end of Jan, then your application will be closed, and you won't get any EAD.

It is hard for me to response your questions without looking that blue note you received from USCIS. Once I see it, I may able to give you answers. I need to know all your history after you came to US, and what is your current school, what is the annual tuition and etc. Your initial application submitted in school with the bank balance. You need to have all those docs in order to make your RFE go away.
