शाही सरकारका गृहमन्त्री कमल थापा अहिले केही समयअघि गिरफ्तार भएका छन्। तराईमा साम्प्रदायिक हिंसा भड्काएको आरोपमा उनलाई उनकै निवासबाट गिरफ्तार गरिएको हो। तराईको समस्यालाई लिएर आठ दलको दिउँसो बसेको बैठकले राजावादी तत्त्वहरु साम्प्रदायिक सदभाव भड्काउन जिम्मेवार रहेको सूचना प्राप्त भएको भन्दै केही शाही मन्त्री र राजावादीहरुलाई गिरफ्तार गर्ने बारेमा छलफल भएको थियो। त्यसै अनुरुप आज रातिसम्ममा अरुलाई पनि गिरफ्तार गर्न सकिने बताइएको छ।

यसो हेर्दा कमल थापालाई गिरफ्तार गरिएको ठीकै जस्तो लाग्छ। शाही शासनकालमा उनले गरेको अत्याचार हेर्दा खुच्चिङ भन्न मन लाग्छ। तर रायमाझी आयोगको प्रतिवेदनलाई खोपीमा थन्काएर काठमाडौँमा बसेका कमल थापालाई तराईमा हिंसा फैलाएको आरोपमा सरकारले थुन्न त थुन्यो। तर प्रमाण कसरी पुर्‍याउने हो कुन्नि ? अनि फेरि सर्वोच्चको आदेशबाट रिहा हुने त होला नि। क्षणिक समयको लागि वाहवाही पाउन थुनेको भए कुरा बेग्लै।

तराईको समस्यालाई लिएर कुनै सम्बोधन नगरी एक्कासी राजावादीहरुलाई गिरफ्तार गर्ने कदमले यदि तराईमा हिंसा साँच्चिकै राजावादीहरुले नै फैलाएका हुन् भने उनीहरु झन् उग्र बन्दैनन् र भन्या ?

Kamala Thapa may have a reason for violence and killing in Nepal for last 2-3 years. How about those who were involved in criminal activities for 10 years? How about those misused government position and resources for 12 years? Apparently, Girija ET Al does not care.

We take care of commies first. This is the most abnormal thing that has ever happened to Nepal. Everything else was going on just fine. Gradually and things might have been better. In other words, the death rate was lot less without these commies. They have to be neutralized.
