I have been to a couple of these functions and have come to the realization that it is worthless....The only reasons I went to the previous ones were to participate in the sports....So many Nepalis willingly allow the money-grubbing ANA committee rob them of their hard-earned cash...Spending 100 dollars a night to stay in a hotel, 35 dollars to go to some lameass culture program, 30 dollars to go to another gay concert with some second-rate nepali singers, and 40 dollars to attend some boring banquet where these old fukheads from New York who organized this piece of crap convention get an arena to suk each other off and tell each other how great they are for organizing this worthless get-together....In addition, you have to pay another 40 bucks to get any nepali food, and they rob even the poor student-athletes....In addition to airfare, which is usually 500 bucks, teams have to purchase their own jerseys and pay 300 dollars each to register to play, and the ANA is such a cheap organization they cant even buy gatorade for the athletes....Its sad that they make so much money off of the sports, and say that the money goes to pay the refs and reserve the gym...that is bullshet...the money goes into the pockets of all the ANA executive committee and the ANA president..just like the money that is generated throughout the convention...and the funniest thing is how they are advertising the next ANA in LA...talking about "when you come to LA you will get to experience Universal Studios, Disneyland, Hollywood, etc"....I just have one question... do we have to rent a car and buy tickets to get access to these areas or does it come with our registration costs?...you piece of shyt organization committee....selfish-mutherfukers...

Whoever is organizing the LA event, if they aren't making any self financial profit out of it, my hats off to them. It takes a lot of work, perseverance to organize the events. By the way do u, piece of scumbag, realize that the money u pay for hotel, car rental etc etc goes to the hotel and car rental company themselves?? I know u prolly aren't even going to pay for the registration for the LA ANA (just show up like a cheap leech) event so stop bitchin'

This is not Nepal that's happening. In case you've forgotten, this is America. Things needs to be trasparent with these organization. Who does the profit go to?, expenses and profit has to be all posted to the general people for easy access. Nepali will never trust another Nepali. That's the bottom line. We've always faced that the consequences of those actions. We're facing in the nation right tnow as we're talking. We have the history and many living examples of corruption, so if nothing else, we DO NOT trust another person. The guy has the right to complain. But buddy,your're barking at the wrong people. Thanks though for bringing them to our attention. Why not file a complain and get some local news coverage to bust their action.Atleast it might shake them off or put a few in the jail.
I personally never go to these Nepali party cause I don't trust another Nepal with money, organization and leadership. So maybe you should not participate in the future.

ya right ...if ANA is worthless..why dont you guys do something better than ANA, or do soemthing to improve ANA, its an organization, its not gonna run effectiveing without everyones contributions...and this is what we do, talk more than work....so get a grip and do soemthing about it.

I will be going for the convention nevertheless as I haven't been to LA for a while and what better excuse than meeting up with tonnes of Nepali chicks! Was told that the drive to Vegas isn't too bad either.
Like you, I only used to go for the sports but now hate the fact that at recent times it has become really exorbitant especailly for college kids...thank goodness during my college yrs it was close to home so I saved a lotta cash on airfare, car-rental, etc. Hope you realize now that if you're not happy, stay da fu(k out so that the ones who go every year can still enjoy amongst themselves...we seriously don't really need some sorry-azz party pooper to ruin all the fun!!

Yea...I am starting something better than ANA...its called the Nepali Boxing Convention...its where I invite all the scrawny, puny, underfed, Nepali People from this site to step in the boxing ring with me...I think it would be great to beat any one of you wannabe tough-guys into a bloody pulp...fuking nerds.
