ANTA (YA NABHAYAKO ...means katai na bhayako jatra hadi gaon ma bhanya jasto) calls for unity among Madhesis
The America-based association of Nepali Teraians – ANTA – has urged all political leaders, intellectuals, journalists and professionals from Madhesi community to unite for the cause of consolidating identity of Madhesis, and ushering in federal structure along with right to self-determination.
At a program organised in Kathmandu on Saturday, ANTA members claimed that the current struggle was a struggle for cultural identity.
Ratan Jha, president of the association, appealed to all Madhesis to become united to push their genuine demands. Jha said that it is unfortunate to suspect the Madhesis since they had the highest regards for nationalist feelings.
The program was participated by a large number of political leaders, intellectuals and professionals.
