 Travel during H1b transfer

Has anybody traveled to Nepal while their H1B was in transfer stage from old employer to a new employer?
If so, please let me know what kind of documents you needed.
Were you able to enter the US with your old employer's visa stamp and new employer's receipt?
Or you had to get a new stamp for the new employer in Nepal?
