This is a line from Girija's interview Q.Till when will the Terai movement, protests and strikes continue? Situation gives birth to new things; there were just strike organizers till yesterday. Now there are more protests to stop the strikes. Tomorrow a new voice will be born, that’s why I’ve been advising everyone to be patient. I am currently holding talks with the agitating parties. The talks will come to a conclusion after I return to the capital. The main problem I’ve been facing is identifying its leader. Some say that they need home minister’s resignation. I understand that no one is indispensable and we can always remove the home minister. But in reality, I also understand a lot of things. Will the movement be stopped after the home minister’s resignation? If the movement will be stopped, then for the public, even the Prime Minister is ready to resign. But what if the movement does not stop? There is a political game behind this issue. You people do not understand this. Like in a game of cards, I have just one card- the home minister. I am willing to show the card but it must end the game. Another problem will arise if I show my card before the final show. I am ready to make the home minister resign anytime if they guarantee to end all this. Otherwise, I also show my card and lose- it would not be fair.
