I think by including a preview screen before we click the final submit button in the thread will help make sajha free of some occasional typos. Most of the times we are anxious while typing in the thread and don't catch the mistakes. however, a preview before the final submission will definately help. Preview can be included at the threshold, after you are done with typing and press like "DONE" button. here's what I mean, 1. Start a thread, or type in an existing thread. 2. Press "DONE" button. 3. this will take user to new screen, preview screen, much like what a user will see in his post. This screen will contain several buttons. like "EDIT", to edit the content should user find any typos or want to make some changes; "SUBMIT", to submit the final messange; "CANCEL", to cancel the post should the user decide not to participate, on reviewing the content. 4. user can edit as many times s/he wants and can even cancel the thread, if everything is okey, then user can press the "SUBMIT" button to post his/her message. thanks what do you guys think?

if you know you are right it will take just two clicks, "DONE" and "SUBMIT". Besides, it's still the two clicks. for instance, when you add your post you are often encountered with the screen which says something like "krypaya yaha hersos" may be different. but you get the message like though. don't you agree...

Raazstone! your suggestion is pretty valid and should be feasible in my opinion. A few months ago somebody suggested doing roll over of maximum allowed postings to the next day (just like in cingular cell phone networks, the guy might be joking too since he seems to have a good head on his shoulders at other times). If that is implemented then a person who has been away from Sajha for only a full month of March can post 31 X 20 (=620) posts next time he/she logs in so that this absentee poster can flood the entire sajha blogosphere for a good number of days. Even if that is allowed, that is too much work on the part of Sajha Admin/Developers/Maintainance people to keep track of who has how many posting allowances left. If I was in the shoes of the Admins, I would welcome changes/amendments whose value would outweigh the effort and time invested by the Admin team. Personally, I was going to make the following suggestions: -increase the default font size so that it is easier to manually revise the spellings. -provide a spell checker. -expand the input Text Area to accomodate the above suggestions If it is not too much work then only it would be nice to -provide capability for customizing font style, font size/color etc That's all I can think of right now. :)

Girl_Interrupted, not everyone is blessed with the intelligence you possess. so giving second chance should be always wecomed, rather than flooding the sajha with the second message just to correct the first one !?

Ya Ive always thought there should be an edit button somewhere in this site , but then I dont really write that much in these thread unlike other peeps around ... but I still it would be nice to see that feature. Gul Interrupted .. who is interrupting you tonight ? lmao .... " Krpaya mayaley bistarai dhyaan diyera type garnuhoss." I can barely understand you there, maybe if there was an edit button then you would wanna change that to english, lol ... oh by the way, do i have any mails ??? I should have that cheque come in already, darn thing.

hahahahaha... only if san had "ample time" to read these suggestions, he wouldn't need "bikini models" to promote his business :P...nothing wrong with that though. you have to "do", what you've "got" to do :D.... i had made a 2-cent worth suggestion around a year back about the amendments that could be made to make sajha more user-friendly--especially for the posters. i think it would be hell lot easier and better for users to post their message if you can incorporate html facilities through " buttons" rather than having to write codes by themselves. For instance, normal operations, like Bold, Italics, Underline, Font Color, Font Size, Hyperlink can be incorporated in the message box itself as "buttons", if you know what I am saying, like they have in MS words. here's that thread: - http://sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=33168#275181 i am a hustler myself when it comes to posting in sajha. i seldom proof-read before i post what i write in sajha hahahahaha...yeah "an impromptu poster" ---one might say :D but for spell-checking, if you use mozilla firefox browser, you may want to go to tools-->options-->Advanced and check the Check the spelling as I type option. This will help you to edit what you write --especially the spellings. if you spell a word incorrectly while typing, it automatically underlines it with a red line...like in MS WORD. :-) Have a good one ya'll serious posters! :P LooTe
