The Best

It is a freezing day outside. It’s pouring and wind is so cold that instead of oxygen, people feel they are inhaling the poison. They try to avoid that toxin by covering there mouth, nose. A small boy, Aryan was standing on the bus stop with his favorite doll. He is playing with doll and thinking that doll is also playing with him. He does not care the weather and any other thing in the world except his doll. His doll is a big doll that Aryan has problem to hold that sometimes. He was waiting for bus since last one hour. Finally, bus arrived and Aryan is running to catch the bus. As soon as he boards the bus, doll was slips away by his hand. The automatic door does not allow him to outside. The express bus neither gives him second chance to catch his favorite doll.
With lots of garbage and noise, Aryan’s doll, Luna is all alone in the street. She knows a car will crash her soon and there will be nothing remaining after a while. She is crying and missing her Aryan a lot. All of sudden, she saws lots of other toys are also in the street. All of them cannot move but still can talk with each other. Most of them are throwing away by kids. They never believe her story and she does not like to defend. She is always looking on the street that one day his Aryan will come to pick her up. She is not in the middle in the street. She is somehow safe in the side of the street. She is very upset with her life now. The reason behind this is nobody knows she is living doll except Aryan. If other people know, then they love to pick her. She never talks to strangers as she knows well Aryan will come back. It is midday and weather is beautiful. It is Christmas time and lots of decorations outside make the environment really beautiful. For Luna, cold morning was more beautiful than warm day. Beautiful city does not make any sense because these citizens treat her dead body, more precisely non living things. She has some friends in street who call her Lunatic instead of Luna. Hope never ends and she is hoping Aryan to pick her up.
The big room is furnishing by Red carpet, big couch and lots of other toys around. His favorite T.V shows and his favorite dishes are around. There is almost everything he wants. His mother never knows why he is crying. Aryan was not able to tell his family that Luna is a living doll. When he was very small, he had no one around him and he cried a lot. Then an angel arrived and gave him a living doll. But the Angel told that if Aryan tells anyone that she is a living doll, Luna will die. Aryan is happy and promised the angel. Aryan knows how to keep the promise. He cried and stopped eating anything. When his mother insists him a lot, he says that he dropped a doll in the street and he wants her back. His mother try to explain that has hundreds of doll and she is promising that she will buy her another one which looks like her Luna. Aryan is so upset and never breaks the promise. Everyone in his home tries to please him. All of them are tried like a dog yet he is not ready to smile.
In the street, Luna makes some friend. She cannot walk without Aryan but in the dark evening, she is telling the funny stories to other doll. They believe that she is Lunatic, yet they love her stories. She told them a story about lion and rabbit and lots of other. From evening g to night, she is singing the stories for them. She knows well that nobody around so she is singing freely. All of her friends are asleep but her lonely eyes waiting for the Aryan.
At around 11 PM in the night, a big car stopped in Aryan’s house. His dad is do happy and as he saws Aryan. He hugs him and kisses him. He asked him “My dear son, what you want?” Aryan trusts his dad and he is pretty sure he will help him. He said that he dropped his best doll in the street and he wants that back. His dad has no idea what his son wants. He promised him to get another doll but Aryan is still crying. His dad cannot bear his tears and left the home at night. His dad and Aryan leave the home. His mother request to wait but they left. Daddy plays his favorite music and assures him to get her doll back. When the place arrived, Aryan takes his head out of the car to see Luna. Luna is aware and waiting for Aryan. She is very happy because she sees his face again. All of sudden, Aryan hears a crash sound and her piece of dust replace her place. His father told him that his car hit a garbage can and small boy believe that. His father says it is nothing and tries to stop the car. Aryan comes out and not able to find Luna. He is somehow satisfied that he tries. He prays with angel to take good care of Luna.

……………….. Aryan never knows his drunken dad killed his Luna!
