Has anybody heard about "FLY EVEREST TRAVEL & TOURS" or "President Travel & Tours "? I just want to make sure that these are good travel agencies to do business with. I have a couple of my family members coming to the US from Nepal (last week of April or 1st week of May) and I got a quote of $1343 for each 2-way ticket. I think its a very good deal but just want to make sure I'm dealing with a good company who wouldn't screw me up.
Looking forward for some suggestions.

They are good. The deal you got is pretty good too. Bimal, the guy who handles all the itenaries, is friendly and courteous!! I bought the tickets for my parents from them for this May.

i also got a e-ticket from them for this summer, and their service was decent.

A friend of mine is travelling for 1200 bucks in July(forget about May, it should be even cheaper). Contact Zen travels and ask them about the one-stop flight to kathmandu. I don't know the airline but it has two flights to kathmandu from usa via middle east. One takes off from Newark Airport and the other from DC.

And, as for the price, I went to Nepal in December last year around that price-1400. I could have gone for 1350 if I had flown at 26th or 27th of December. And remember December is one of the peak seasons...I got that one from Kali Travels.

dont fly through golden eyes travel in san francisco. they screwed me up good time. i went to nepal last summer with my sister and brother in law. i flew from san francisco to los angeles-bkk-ktm. we were told by the travel agent that we could carry the amount of load in our baggage as per the international flight standard. we were about to board flight. we had luggage as per the international weight standard. the flight was operated by united from SFO to LAX and then by Thai. but we were told by the cres of United that it was a domestic flight from SFO to Lax and we would have to pay extra money for our baggages. we called the travel agent from there and she could not answer our question to content and on the opposite told us to pay the fine!!!!! we had to pay $ 25 for each suitcase which came out to be $ 150 for 6 baggages. i cant recall her nemae but i think her name was "sita didi". guys dont purchase ticket from that travel agent!!!! that biatch screwed us big time.....it was a bad start to the journey!!!!!
