Mr. Pire,

Sorry he's an Indian. Can you prove that he's Nepali?

I can prove he is Indo-Nepali and not Nepali. Meaning Indian but of Nepalese origin.

Hope you got my point.

Laxmi Gewali is from Nelpal. He visits Nepal almost once a year. He was also involved in some curriculum development for CS in Nepal. I met him in Nepal like 5-6 years ago. But things might have changed after that.

Peace!!!!

Cadmium,
you are wrong on Laxi Gewali. He is Nepali and I know his family in the US and in Nepal. he very much identifies himself as a Nepali, visits Nepal every now and then, has good relationship with friends and families in Nepal, even has helped some Nepalese professionally. I am disappointed that you let your whims decide someone's nationality. Think before you type, IF YOU CAN.

Mr Simonsaurav:

Then, go ahead and check the citizenship of Prof. L.Gewali.

A Nepali cannot have 2 citizenships, hope I am very clear. Under current law, no man even Gurkha Armies who were from their birth in UK cannot "UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE 2 CITIZNSHIPS"!!! Nepal is NOT INDIA where a person can carry 2 citizenships but there are hundred thousands people lack of Nepalese citizenship e.g Bhutanese Refugees, Tibetan Gangs, Madhesh Niwasi samudaya!!!

Cadmium,

Check the following link:

http://www.nepalireland.org/NHOB_Archive/prof_dr_laxmi_gewali.htm

It clearly mentions- "A veteran of more than 60 research papers Dr. Laxmi P. Gewali is currently working as a professor of computer science at University of Nevada, USA. Dr. Laxmi, who was born in Thorga, Gulmi started his career in Computer Science when he completed his M.Sc. in computer science from University of Texas, USA in 1982 and then a Phd from the same university in 1989. "

Hope you have no more doubt that Dr. Laxmi P. Gewali is a Nepali now.
