I had a credit card right after my 1st semester, apply for student credit cards, they have lower APRs and students can easily get them. You have to build a good credit history (if you are a new student from Nepal). Make sure you use a debit card to pay for anything you buy, pay your bills on time, and thats more than enough to get creditors scrambling to get hold of you. As long as you know how to handle money, you'll be fine.

I have seen many students having the same problem but I haven't seen anyone who got deported. Talk to your international student advisor as others suggested, they will definately help you. Summer is on its way. Work hard and make a lot of money. Thats what a lot of students do.
