For the first time in the history of Nepal, I see Law being enforced. I congratulate the District Administration Office and the Chief District Officer personally for taking this exceptional step – at a time – where the country is in chaos and anarchy. I am sure most of our journalists, human rights, and international civil society leaders will fail to honor this officer. I won’t be surprised; they did not find any fuel for their media. This is the time when every citizen needs to advocate and support everyone who tries to enforce law. As the communism has already enslaved Nepal and International world supports those terrorists without carefully analyzing, only strict law enforcement officers can shape this nation. I invite everyone to support these patriots and join hands to fight against global terrorism.

I admire that UNMIN is taking steps to investigate into the destruction that happened in Bardiya. I can easily imagine the situation of a country where the Assistant District officer can be beaten by some hooligans who claim themselves to be of Young Communist League. Why civilians should suffer? Political organizations do not burn the electricity authority and land revenue offices. I hail the actions that the DAO Bardiya has taken. It should set an example for all the leaders and the political slaves who have negotiated with terrorists. Remember, we can negotiate with political groups, but not with with terrorists.

According to Nepalnews “The district administration of Bardiya has banned the show of arms as well as lathis (batons) in protests. The administration has issued an order banning carrying lathis, guns, sharp weapons and slings in protest demonstrations. The order was issued after Maoist activists started using them in demos terrifying the local people. Meanwhile, the police have filed cases under Public Offense law against 38 out of 46 YCL cadres it had arrested in connection with attack against government offices in Gulariya.”

Unfortunately, in Nepal, to fight with terrorists, the officers are scared because of human rights activists. No human rights watch groups comes to see the pain a civilian suffers, but when a terrorist is charged with criminal intent and terrorist behavior, all the civil society leaders will advocate. Imagine the pain of those 30,000 people who were brutally killed by these tyrant terrorists, and the bereaved family they have left behind. Which human rights watch group is taking care of their family, and see the dilemma; those terrorists are sheltered by the same human rights watch group.

Who is responsible for all the attacks that have happened in Banke, Bardiya and Dang districts? Nepalnews states “In Banke, Maoists had set fire to police post last week. In Bardiya, they attacked the post of Armed Police Force. In Dang they attacked a Congress leader even as talks were on between NC and Maoist leaders regarding return of properties of displaced persons.” Is the terrorist chief accepting the blame?

According to Katipur “The US embassy Tuesday warned its citizens to exercise caution before visiting Nepal citing continued Maoists "violence, extortion and abduction" even after their entry into the interim government. The embassy, has said that it is concerned about the security situation in Nepal and urged American citizens planning a visit to Nepal to obtain updated security information before they travel.”

There isn’t any logic to endanger someone’s life in Nepal. I appreciate America because it has foreseen how communism leads the path of terrorism. Seven dictators entered into a wrong agreement with a terrorist who dreams to the first communist president of the nation.

“Issuing a travel advisory on Monday the embassy urged its citizens who are presently in Nepal to be careful and not to leave their houses if there are demonstrations being held.”

I wonder why terrorism in Nepal is still supported. By far or less, only Nepalese are the one to be blamed for its deteriorating situation. Nepalese have the capability of end this war by themselves. It shouldn’t be forgotten – Nepalese are the brave sons of “Gurkhas”, and they are capable to end this terrorism and also can advance brotherhood.

I appeal to everyone to support these types of officers so that more officers can work like them. A small country like Nepal can be the “Zone of Peace” again overnight if few more like this CDO are born in Nepal.

ashutosh,

I was reading an article by Shushila Karki yesterday in Kantipur, and she also mentions how Police rescued people stranded in a compound in terai by ChureBhawar karyakarta. I think slowly, the country is moving towards peace and social harmony. I also think madhesi forum etc are also a lot mellow now. aafu aafu maa maarkaata garera kehi hudaina bhanne sabailai thaha chha. plus our country has a lot of good people also, methinks.

Yes, I too plaud Bardiya ko CDO. If I were ktmko cdo, I would arrest Prachanda bro for stealing Raju sthko Pajero. tara ke garnu, kukhuroko jasto chittale desha kasarai law and order ma farkanchha ra? It is like UP/Bihar now (I was reading this report in BBC about the leaders/ganglords of UP/Bihar sometimes ago)
