hello folks
1 of my friend is applying for b1/b2 visa for short training in US
he is in dilemma regarding affidavit of support
FINANCIAL SUPPORT is given by his parents in nepal
shud the affidavit be in any legal form signed by legal authority
or simple plain paper letter with writing his dad will support with duly signed by him?
as of now he has made simple plain paper letter signed by dad n his date of interview is 1st july.....
so its urgent
pls suggest........

1. Deposit $$$ in your account here in US and ask bank for statement and you sign and write sponser letter (providing all your documents).
2. Deposit money at bank in Nepal. Ask for statement (they will stamp/notarize). Make relation verification from ward office. And letter of sponserhip at plain paper.

A letter of sponshorship at plain paper signed by father mentioning that ..
his dad declares him as his son and will bear all the expenses for the visit along with current Bank statement in NRS (and converted to US $) should be enough.
In order to make the claim strong, he may want to provide an official translated copy of his citizenship or a proof of relationship verification along with sponshorship letter and bank statement.

thanx to all the responses 1st time i m getting genuine responses
otherwise some of my previous thread asking for suggestions were full of sarcasm n uundue fun n mockery
sajha rocks anyway..........
latest in this regard is he has made the affidavit in nepali kagaj with stamp(making like stamp paper)
n declaration duly signed by dad n verified by advocate........
is this okay?
i mean is this more strong than plain paper?

helllo nepal ko chora ya he did he had actuallly applied form delhi as he was studying at delhi his clerkship was for 1 month tara 6 mnths validity matra diyo tara 1 thing surprised me usko delhi bata pako visa ma purpose of visit pani lekhya chha re generally testo ta na huni parne haina ra? 1 month traing at falano university bhanera lekhya chha re is that normal? any sajhaite know the reason?pls correspond...... me myself wanna know k aba
