YCL thrash former NSU prez Ghimire

KATHMANDU, June 13 - Cadres of the Maoist wing Young Communist League (YCL) Tuesday night thrashed and injured former Nepali Congress student wing Nepal Students' Union (NSU) president Guru Raj Ghimire in the capital.
The YCL members stopped Ghimire's motorcycle while he was returning home last night and beat him up near Batisputali in Kathmandu.

Ghimire sustained injuries in his mouth, chin and eyes and was taken home after receiving treatment at the capital's Teaching Hospital.

Motive behind the beating is unknown.
