this could be pretty interesting for some of you to view at your leisure. there is a collection of videos of deadly plane crashes of the past in youtube. the videos include description of the events reconstructed based upon what had been told by the witnesses and the report of the investigation committee. i am attaching few interesting ones here:

1) Air France Flight 4590 Concorde:

Air France Flight 4590 was a Concorde flight from Charles de Gaulle International Airport near Paris, France to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, New York, and operated by Air France. On July 25, 2000 it crashed in Gonesse, France. All 100 passengers and nine crew on board the flight, as well as four people on the ground, were killed.



2) Philippine Airlines Flight 434 Bombing:

Philippine Airlines Flight 434 (PAL434, PR434) was the route designator of a flight from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Metro Manila, Philippines, to New Tokyo International Airport (now Narita International Airport), Narita near Tokyo, Japan, with one stop at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Cebu. On December 11, 1994, the Boeing 747-283B on the route was on its second leg, from Cebu to Tokyo, when a bomb exploded, killing one passenger. The rest of the passengers and the crew survived.



3) Aeroflot Flight 593:

Aeroflot Flight 593 refers to an accident on March 23, 1994 in which a RAL Russian Air Lines Airbus A310-304 passenger airliner, registration F-OGQS, operating on behalf of Aeroflot, crashed into a hillside in Siberia. All 75 passengers and crew were killed. The cockpit voice recorder revealed that the pilot's 15-year-old son, Eldar Kudrinsky, was initially at the controls when the incident began, and that he had unknowingly activated an automatic feature of the A310's autopilot that many pilots at the time were unfamiliar with.



4) Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961 Hijacked:

Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961 was hijacked on November 23, 1996 en route from Addis Ababa to Nairobi, by three Ethiopians seeking political asylum. The plane crashed in the Indian Ocean near Comoros after running out of fuel, killing 123 of the 175 passengers and crew on board.

although all crashes are scary, i personally found the 3rd one the scariest of all. it will send the chill into your spine right away. watch the video and you'll know why! i couldn't even imagine how the passengers felt during the last few minutes of their lives. the plane went through nose dives down towards the ground twice at some 70 meters per second!!!!
