Hello friends,

I've been trying to call Kathmandu for last 4 days but for some reason I cannot get the connection. I tried calling using different calling cards hoping that would work, but it didn't. I also tried calling direct from my home phone (I have long distance also) but didn't work either. When I dial the number, it rings for minute and dies. I've heard the same problem from some of my friends also. Are you guys having the same problem too ?
Please let me know.

Same here. We had been using TelNepal's $2 card quite successfully until last week when this problem arose. Hopefully it will get better soon.

I talked on last sunday (17th) using superplus $2 card. First 2-3 trials were not successful. The feedback message was "the number you dialed is not responding, please try again later". Once it was connected, the line was very clear, better than talking in mobile to mobile in US. I got full 20 minutes plus 38 seconds as the card promised.
