Hello all,

My parents are going to Nepal via CHICAGO-BOMBAY-DELHI-KTM route. CHICAGO-BOMBAY-DELHI is via Air India and DELHI-KTM is via Nepal Airlines. We didn't purchase the DELHI-KTM sector from Air India. I know there are lots of bitter experiences on the way. They have to change flights in Bombay to another air india plane. Then from they have to change flight to Nepal Airlines again.

But which one is the best of the following two options would you think about the luggages?

i. Pick up all the luggages at Delhi Airport and then again check in to Nepal Airlines
ii. Directly pick the Luggages at KTM

I have heard that its far better to choose option (i). What do you think ?

Option 1 is better. Delhi Indhira Gandhi International Airport is far better now. No problem.

If there is long waiting to catch nepal airlines then I advise to go to close by hotel called Shanti. http://shantipalace.com Good service, Airport Drop and pickup service also availiable. No hassles for sure.

Option 2 is good too if you don't need luggage in Delhi. I like Option1 because I want to make sure all my stuffs are intact with me. Just in case you know.

Hey Goodjob,

My parents are also leaving for Kathmandu via Chicago-Bombay-Delhi. They are leaving on the first of july around 9:30 in the evening.

Is it the same day your parents are leaving?
