58.64 percent pass SLC Exams 2063

KATHMANDU, July 6 - The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) has published the results of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations 2063.
The OCE published the results at around 11:40 Thursday night.
Of the total 274,210 regular examinees, 58.64 percent have passed the exams.
Similarly, of the total 72,957 exempted examinees, 31.51 percent have passed the exams.
This year’s results are better by some 12 percent as compared to last year’s. Last year, 46.51 percent students had passed the exams.
Like in the last year, the “Top 10†hasn’t been made public this year too.
Of the total 274,210 regular students, 160,802 have passed the exams of which 7,498 have got a distinction. Similarly, the number of students who have secured First, Second and Third divisions, is respectively: 56,153; 89,662 and 7,498.
Similarly, 31.53 percent of the total exempted students have passed the exams. This year a total of 72,957 exempted students had sit for the exams of which 23,009 have passed the exams. Last year only some 17 percent of the exempted students had passed. The number of students who have secured First, Second and Third Divisions respectively under the exempted category is 255, 17715 and 5039, respectively.
