Did anyone watch Dateline NBC "Catch a Predator" on Monday 7/9/2007?

This nepali guy, aka Deepak Bista was caught red handed in Flagler Beach, Florida while trying to have sex with a 13 year old. He is now being prosecuted under 2 counts and also charged by immigration ...may be towards deportation!! I don't know how could this guy, a literate (college student & chemistry teacher) could do this, SICKO!!!

How could you bloggers miss this episode...it's a disgrace to Nepalese living in United States and back home.

In case you missed the broadcast, you can still see the details @ Click target=_blank >http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10912603/

And he is not only the first Nepali to do that.
I have heard that a Stupid One in Dallas, Irving did that a year ago.
He is still there going to college.

Other one did that in Missouri and his friends claim that he won his battle and was not deported.

May be there are many Nepali disgrace to us, which we dont know.

There are about 5 different Nepali getting caught like this. In texas, Missouri, Minnesota.
But they were not televised or nor was recorded for this show.
But they were arrested with condoms and flowers and lotions and chips in the a appartment that was used by cops to catch them.

Namaste everyone! I am Bruce. I have many, many Nepali friends who are like my brother and sister. I want to respond and give my own thougths about
Deepak Bista Dateline NBC "Catch a Predator" on Monday 7/9/2007

I have very great compassion for Deepak and his family. We are all human. We all have instinctual feelings. I truly believe that even though Deepak may have been a smart student, he was naive and inexperienced with women. He may also have been shy to have been using the internet. Many people that go online fall in love with people that they only write to. There are many times in life that emotion takes control and overpowers are minds of reason. I truly believe that Deepak is a very good human being. He did not, IN FACT, hurt anyone. I do not believe he meant to abuse or hurt anyone. He brought flowers. I think his heart of goodness was at play, nothing evil.
We have no knowledge that he meant to take advantage of a young person. I am an American born in Washington, D.C., but I know that in some parts of Nepal it is common for a 14-year-old girl to marry. As a Buddhist, I know that next to anger, judgment is a very, very bad thing. We all do not see what goes on in the world clearly. We all only see a piece of the truth. As a Buddhist, I believe that only a truly enlightened person truly understands reality. I ask that you forgive and love this young man in your hearts. Please, don't condemn him or judge him so harshly. I hope, with all of my heart, that Deepak is able to smile, again and to have a very good life. If we all look in the mirror, we can see that we are not perfect. We all have done bad things. But, we are not bad people. No person is totally bad. We grow and learn from our experiences.
When I saw Deepak on TV, my heart broke for him. I saw this young man with flowers as if on a first date ready to love someone. Loving someone is beautiful. Loving ANYONE, including a 13-year-old. We have no evidence or reason to believe that he would have been unkind in any way. I love Deepak as I love all people. I try each day to love everyone equally and in the same way. I encourage you to do the same. Dhanyabad. I wish you a smile each day. Bruce of Arlington, VA

May be he made a mistake, but in societes, those sort of offences cant be tolerated, especially in America where everyone is waiting to see someone being trapped or spied or being arrested, so all watching eyes can have stories for weeks and make profit outta it.
Creating a model society? Well god bless america

Texas executes awful number of inmates but "sharia law" is shame?
i dont know if even HARVARD can teach me the difference and clear my head outta it , so i can do some ghas

Jai shambhu and god bless all goods and bads
