Hi all,

I am really impressed from the so fast work of the Nepalese Embassy in USA. I live near Boston in Massachusetts. I sent an application for getting a new passport on Aug 13, 2007 and I got my new passport (including the old one) today (Aug 18, 2007). It was just by Priority Mail both ways. This is a really fast work. I highly appreciate the quick service of the Embassy in this regard !

Hey BKmailo, where did you send the application for renewal? DC or NY? I haven't got any positive feedback regarding the service in DC.

details,

I guess the embassy is making a lot of progress. I had a bad experience myself a couple of years ago, but this time everything went smooth.

I hope it stays this way for years to come.

whatelse the poor staff can do except mailing passports since theres nothing else to participate like other countries do.
Dont get me wrong, its great to have a passport mailed in jet speed but at the same time, Does anyone know achievements of Embassy in NY or DC in that matter?
i would rather have them enrolled at ESL as part time job

Recently i also renewed my passport from DC. I got my new passport within 3 weeks as well. They did their job very well and i appreciate it. I wrote them e-mail thanking them of their quick processing. I guess nowadays people who have working ethics are there. Nice.

I was in the embassy last month and stayed there for an hour. DC embassy is good; people are friendly and service is fast. Still it looks like VDC office of kalikot. It needs to be cleaned and refurnished. There is only single receptionist I saw and she was hell busy answering calls; need to increase manpower.
