I sit here and wonder...................... Even in Kansa, Ravana, Durdhoyan or Saddam’s wildest dream.... If they were to carve a destruction plan... Their evil plan would not come close to what our own people have done to our beloved motherland... I sit here and wonder………………………. If we will ever be able to lend our hands to wipe out Nepal Aama’s tears… Tears so strong which has triggered avalanche and wiped out villages and flooded Tarai... Tears so strong which has been transformed into blood and dyed our streets dark red And blood bath so terrible, human fleshes are all over the “Kantinagari†I sit here and wonder………………………… How a hungry lion rips apart an innocent animal… We are tearing our country in Small pieces and be happy that we got our share??? What this lion has done is just a mere act to satisfy his hunger… But I sit here and wonder why suddenly our appetites have grown up so enormously……. I sit here and wonder………………..........

Ravan was a decent man, and can not be put together with Hitler or Saddam Husain. This is a story made by Aryan against non-Aryan who were black and hard working class residence of South Indian. The story itself in controversial, even the birth of Sita. Ravan and Sita belong in two diffirent youg (uga). This story is nothing but a brutal racial attack on black non-Aryan who did not acknowledged the brown (Aryan like Hitler) supremacy. If the epic tries to justify against Ravan because he kidnapped SIta, So what? Every powerful person has right to have the beautiful lady in the world in that era and that what the kings doing in Asian country. He was a king too. I forgot, either Brahma or Vishnu has kept his Bhauju, if they can do why not Ravan. That is what Hinduism is, worship the mighty people and be his/her followers.

And ya, if you debate that Ravana was better human being than our politicians, I may agree with you.

August 25, I agree with you completely and understand your deep feelings for our motherland. I guess every Nepali who has love and respect for Nepal would have similar feelings. Most of us--nepalis living in abroad--have spend most of our time in Nepal and have deep roots there. We know that our country was not like what it is now even few years ago. If we think, there are many factors that have played roles in transforming nepal into its current situation. I am not sure what we people living abroad can do to improve situation there although it would be great if there would be any thing we could do---because the politicians belonging to all parties and those violent political gangs that are carrying out terror under under the political umbrella do not care anything but themselves. So, it would hardly matter to them if we make petitions or make requests or do anything like that. The current interim government is equally worried that the maoists would wal away from the government and so is just remaining quiet and tolerating the YCL's and other groups' criminal activities. They do not have a strong leader and no guts to even try to maintain secutrity and law in the country. They're like they do not care about ordinary people suffering as long as they are untouched. Nepal has democracy for 17 years and during these 17 years every party has had the chance to come into power and establish their government, but none of them could do a damn good thing! Maoists came during their time and resulted into mass violence and terror. Our incompetent leaders can do nothing except say few words infront of reporters. So, in my opinion either our leaders should act smart like Prachanda and the maoists, who are dam smart to get what they want or new generation should take over the old corrupt leaders from all the parties. And the YCL gangs shuy be locked into bars no matter what.

I couldn't agree less with you HappyFace. I do not know the clear intention of Maoist (Probably they themselves don't know what exactly they want) but the leadership of Prachand is unquestionably strong. Let’s pray hard for our mother land do what we can do to help. Question may arise that if we love our country so much then why can’t we go back and help. But I believe everyone is playing a part. Sending money to Nepal, helping family and friends or donating money to build hospitals, schools or doing anything will definitely help even if we send few cents because every cent counts. Unless you are really sure you have good plans and means to execute them well, just going back to Nepal is not good solution. Some ppl might disagree with me but this is the fact. Jai Nepal

I see the face and act of Idi Amin on all our leader. Who could not see and realise what they did and still doing is wrong. We need another 36,46, 56 and 66. Maoest are the barrier, they are like a old ox neigher able to breed not lets other.
