Almost everybody thought 2007 #1 draft Greg Oden was a safe pick. And Sports Pundits on and off the TV/Radio were talking about how competitive Portland team would be. They even talked about him being sure lock for the Hall of Fame w/o playing a single game. Now the word is out, he will be out at least for a year after the microfracture surgery. And noone will know how he injured his knee anytime soon.

Not many players came back 100% after the microfracture surgery. He could be the biggest #1 pick bust.

Let's hear who you think is the biggest #1 pick bust beside Oden

Seattle must be laughing sarcastingly on Blazers. If this injury keep him nagging then another Sam bowie on the way.

Chris Webber had the same problem but his form came back (though not 100%). As any other ailment, its how the guy who underwent it makes of it. Lets hope Oden goes to prove what I'd previously thought about him.
