Up for sale is a gorgeous 2003 Champagne Metallic Ford Taurus LX Sedan.
Taurus was a milestone design for both Ford and the entire American automotive industry, as well as a very influential vehicle in the marketplace. During its 20 years of production, Ford has sold over 6.7 million Tauruses worldwide.
This lovingly cared for 2003 model has the LX package, which includes air conditioning, power steering, power windows, power door locks, luxury cloth seating, remote power mirrors, and remote trunk release. It is powered by the nearly bulletproof 3.0 liter Vulcan V6 (155 hp, 185 ft lbs of torque), which is backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The original owner upgraded from the factory stereo to a Pioneer AM/FM/CD player with detachable face. This car has been very well maintained, adult owned and driven, and is mechanically sound. The car has just over 108,000 miles, and everything is functioning perfectly. It passed Virginia emissions inspection less than a year ago, and passed Virginia State Safety inspection just days ago, on October 29. It is ready for many more years of faithful service. We are selling the car simply because we have two other cars, and no longer use it.
