Sorry, there's no way for h-4 to get Social Security. B'coz H-4's not allowed to work in U.S at all.

May be it depends upon state to state. but its really difficult to get SSN nowadays. Even with valid work permit, it takes months to get SSN. F1 students w/ work assistant get hurdles to get SSN. So in H4 i dont think that you will get SSN.
