I have heard many genre of music but there are only few which has touched my heart and made me an avid listner. Music genre  like hip-hop is a big no no for - I have no time for an adult doing nursery rhyme. It never fails to piss me off. I don't care what the whole rhyming is about since there is no good melody. !!!

Sadly, one of the singer/song writer, whom I love has passed away but his music will live on. Fickled minded people will just follow what the mass media dedicates but then like many true music follower, I will forever be listening and supporting true artiste like him and hope to one day at least do my own youtube tribute.

I know there are many people out there who are into hip music and must have surely felt angered by my negative remark about hip-hop.If you think I am wrong about my perception about hip-hop, please do air your view but bear in mind that you should behave like a mature and responsible user. There should be no personal insult and vulgarities.

Anway here are the songs of Dan Fegelberg, the multi instrumantlis/singer/song writer, which I love most.

REST IN PEACE DAN, YOUR MUSIC WILL LIVE ON !!!

Everything doesn't have to be what you like/dislike, you know? Things change with time. Media and entertainment goes hand in hand like fashion (you're not wearing bell bottom pants, are you?). Once Elvis was the fashion, now it's so old, maybe even to you. If you think Hip Hop has vulgerity and no meaning, then you're listening to the wrong ones. Look for better ones.Remember Rock N' Roll was not saint either. Those raciest, white trash singing "My mother was a witch. She was burn alive" with sub branches like Death Metal, Trash Metal, anti social, anti...this...anti that. Do you think they were better than Hip Hop? They're are as bad as your version of bad hip hop.

Hip Hop is the voice of the younger generation, maybe not your. It will be old and wear off someday too. The only things that remains constant is CHANGE, nothing else. You have 2 chioce, accept it and move forward with it OR wine about it, which nobody will care cause you'll not be the majority.

and I'm not impressed with your Michael Bolton lookalike mellow love songs. Even love songs change with time. Yours are too old.I've heard one but the one with Despearado, it doesn portrait your sainthood type of music with guns and Bollyhood style of fight scene.

Hey Bob, thanks for you input. I had already expected that kind of comments. Since I am not a follower most of the time, so I am not any way influenced by the media.

By the way the good music are never too old and I do like Elvis Presley.

Regarding th video clip of Despeardo, well, it was done by a fan and the song is based on American history - nothing to do with the movie. Also Dan Fogelbeerg is way way too much talented than most of the current contemporary singers, and has for your information played all the instruments in one of his album, I know there are many older singers who has done it before.

Acknowledging  one of the best  musician to me is a great honour and Dan is one of them. I am not intersted with artistes who are good with computers and rhyming.

Here is a song the Sutters Mill was based on, the one with Desperado clip.

Sourse: wikipedia.com

Sutter's Mill was a sawmill owned by 19th century pioneer John Sutter. It was located in Coloma, California, USA at the bank of the American River. Sutter's Mill is most famous for its association with the California Gold Rush. It was here that an employee of Sutter's, James Marshall, on January 25, 1848, found several flakes of gold that would begin the transformation of California from a sleepy outpost to a bustling center of activity[1]. It brought people from many different cultures to the "Golden" state. The first document on the discovery of the gold was in Henry Bigler's diary. He and several other people working at the mill were discharged veterans of the Mormon Battalion. Sutter's Mill was also used during the Bear Flag Revolt.

The site of the mill is located in Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park and is registered as California Historical Landmark #530. Sutter's Mill is a copy of the original building and looks much like it. It was built with Marshall's own drawings and an early day photo as reference for the recreation of the mill.

I'm sorry to say that your "I don't follow media" is a BS. Then why are you her online at a heavely used Nepali site? The music during the religious gospel were also against your type of music that came right after. It's not anything new. It has been going on for century. I've no problem on what type of music you listen, none of my business. But it really pisses me off when you try to enfore your choice upon others and think your is the superior. People like you who never change, gives less of a chance and opportunity for the newer generation. Just because your creativity stopped a while ago, doesn't mean the world has to stop for you. I'm probably your age, but I'm open to anything new.

Stutter Mills? I never heard about him. Good luck trying to promote x-underground artists. They're old, worst they never mad it. Sad.

ps.have you tried Christian Rock band. I bet you'll like them. They're slow, mellow and full of feel good, literate words, which to me is so fake.
