My friend is a student here,F1, his employer made him work for 3 months, supposedly saying that his per hour income would be 7.75 an hour, working at least 110 hours a week, and after taxes he said he has cut around 1500 in taxes, including federal and state,....now when he went to ask for his tax return papers he said he is a student and u were working illegally with me, dhasaunu samma dhasayo ani aile tax return aaula bhanera he has no hopes because he was giving him personal checks!!!, so there is no record of his work with him, except the personal checks he deposited.

So how can my friend get the money? is there a way he can teach the employer a lesson maybe ? what are the chances if he sues him and the business? how should be approach the problem?

I am pretty sure the employer knows about hiring students and highly skilled to manipulate the circumstances. Employer must be Asian. Now if you try to teach him lesson your friend will be loosing what ever he is making, learn to compromise. Forget about getting 600 back; rather concentrate what he is making for living.

yeah the guys indian, and hes done that to several students, under-paying them u know!!! and in a big city 6 dollars an hour would be nothing, any ways thank u for ur thread, any more folks?

Atleast he knows what he doing and giving you even $6 per hour. Keep working until you get better oppertunity. Take it is a stepping stone.

dhoti does that thing to every one. They knows that we (students) can't sue or complain to police coz we r working illigaly and if any ways we do complain than it would be '' aafno khoota ma aafai bancharo le hannu"

so, my advice to ur friend is , tell him/her keep on working in same place and start refunding his/her own money by their own hand daily with interest ;). i guess u got what i am saing........

 

o thanks nepalbanda he is a really honest guy, and he's quit the job, but i guess the advise is a lil late. but thanks he said... and yeah i dont wanna peculiarize indians but some tend to be blood-suckers, nepali bhaye ni tei garthyo ki?
