okay guys......I know a lot of you guys will be dishing about this video, 'Hero palteko haru' or show off, bhanera.....I know, its totally valid, ali ali hero paltana khojeko pani ho!!! :)

But I just wanted to see what everyone thought about the song. We recorded this song at a party, without any practice, one take one shot. So there are a lot of mistakes.

But, my main point is. How many of you guys would be ready to pay for a live event with this kinda classic acoustic music?

I've got a couple of other old nepali songs we sang that night, I'll post them too if you guys like em.

DC Virus, I like your performance.

I will not be going to a concert if they are playing this type of song. The lyrics is good but that does not make the song nice. The melody is not good at all and I know that this song is popular among Nepali but I am not bothered about going against the liking of other people. Since what I listen is what I love and not other people like.

Well, if you guys are regular concert goer, you should be aware that this type of music never gets played unless, of course, you have been to Nepali concert.

Anyway DC Virus, thank you for putting up the your, I believe, gathering sing a long session music. I do hope that you will be posting more videos.

I'll try to post more songs if people like it.  Most of the nepali music I've been hearing lately are either too American-ized or Bollywoodized. Listening to something totally nepali got me carried away.

I thought others would feel the same way. But I appreciate your comments.

As for me. I'm more into classical Nepali music now, even ghazals .... getting old.

Dc virus, I listen to music widely so I also listened oldies as well but I refrain from gazal, Bollywood music, r & b and hip hop. In fact, I enjoy singing as I strum my guitar and sometime I also play harmonica, other times I play my penny whitle.

One thing to note though, I think you got talent. So I will not be suprise if you have been performing in front of people.

Last but not least, if you decide to perform this type of song then think twice. But if you do want to go on and sing then please carry on and I am sure it will be quite apparant to you that there will be people who will be bored to death though some might sing a along.

DC Virus, I am hoping to see more of your videos later. In the meantime, I am going to sleep and good luck with your recording of your song for us here in sajha.

regards,
Rai
