 what is progress 4GL?

Javra Software Nepal and Javra Software has been able to develop X/E Files tool using Progress 4GL tool.

And what is this progress 4GL now?Any one with any short explanation?

Yes,

Progress is a programming language itself and also has its own database.  Can develop applications, ERPs, etc  I guess it could be compared to Oracle with some limitations.

I have worked with Progress for almost a decade now.

It can be used in various industries...It also uses queries to interact with the database.

There are web applications as well.

Progress is more popular in Europe..

Do you think we can use that progress to develop market in Nepal or in whole Asia? Of course, India and China are big countries, but can we make Nepal as an outsourcing hub for whole of US and Europe? Wur U Say Man.?
