(The topic of this thread may sound distressing to many people loving Nepal.)

Tibet was a free country.
Sikkim was supposed to be a free country.
Nepal is a free country.

CHINA took over Tibet long time ago and many didnt even knew that TIBET used to exist. Hardly anyone outside the subcontinent knows about Sikkim. King Prithivi Narayan Shah who united the country told that our country is like yam between two stones and alerted us to be careful to remain as a seperate nation. When England ruled India, we have to forfeit our most cultivable land to them. We were suppose to get back the forfeited land but we never got it, same thing happen to Sikkim. It was to be a seperate country but never managed to be. With the Southern neighbour digging in the border inch by inch, I do not know the excat size of the country.
Now, the Chinese who we felt the safer among to stones is trying to move inside. They are trying to tell the world that Mount Everest belongs to CHINA. Who gave them the authority to take the Olympic Falg to Mount Everest? Did they forget that Mount Everest belongs to Nepal NOT China? Its a very worrying fact. I am very much concerned over the Tibetian protes. God knows if we will be in the same situation as Tibetians are now. Prostesting in the streets of US or Australia about for our independency.
