At the beginning, "BEST OF LUCK" to all applicants of H1-B.
A little Story from last year-- A guy was told by one of the rep from Indian Con. that they filled his H1 B. When inquired several times by the guy about "things to prove that they actually filled his H1-b", Always got serveral different excuses. Few months later, He found that among many others, he was also one of those, who became the victim of this Consultancy. They actually never filled his H1-B. Reasons: God Knows ( My assumtions-- he had diff background from IS or COM and i think it was less likley to get approval, and also he had paid to study 3 months Course.
Now, Here is the thing--I know many of you received from ur Consultancy, FedeX tracking no or some sort of tracking the package, which just confirms when package was picked- up and when package arrived at destination and signed by whom. Lets take and example I can send all "my documents" in the envelope and put the reference of Colsultancy name plus your last name just to make fool of you, and give you the tracking no of that package. How can you verify that documents inside the envelope were yours?????????
Next, I found that within the same Consultancy, there are discrepancy.., things are done different. One of my frd signed a paper "Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative". This paper is nothing, just a consent from you that you have given permission to handle your imigration case by attorney. Here is another problem, Including me and my few frds, we were never asked to sign this paper. Upon inquery by my frd, they said that "all of these has done online". U don't have to sign anything. Why Discrepency??????????
Finally, we all know, we all applicants will enter in "random selection" in coming days. Now , If u get selected in the process, they (USCIS) will send you a receipt of the case. This is very helpful becoz Now u Know that they did send ur applications. What abut others, who were not selected in the random process. I don't know. I believe they will just send your File and Money back to your Consultancy. Now, Is there anyway to find out that indeed my file was send, I was in the random selection process, but i didn't get selected. Example--'As consultancy, I can keep ur file with me, and after few months, i will say that You were not selected in the random process."
PLZ.. do not take this personally or otherwise....! These are just few things just keep bugging my head. Things will be differnt for all of us. Some people pay their own money to file their H1-B. Some are sponsired by ConSultancy. Some Consultancy wish to earn money for the period of your OPT, and then leave u of nowhere. Whatever may be the reasons, I know, there were, there are, and there will be the victims of this H1-B. I left my case in the "NAME Of GOD", hoping that i will apply for my extension of OPT.
