माओबादी येता हेर मूजी
Hey guys, what do you think?
Shouldn't Maoists be brought into justice for the killings of 15000 innocent people before letting them be the chief of executive?

History can not be erased just because they are elected (unfortunately, one doesn't go into the depth of how they won the election) and of course an overarching, extended mire of violence, torture, psychological trauma factors, and a cruel schooling upon the innocent people for 10 years are factors behind this sweeping "takeover" of the Maoists.

In my mind, Maoists' so called victory is the result of Nepali peoples' Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Not only Maoists, u can see all those whom we saw as evil of Nepali people, such as Baban Singh and some forms of separatists, and spree-mongers like MPRF are in winning streak. Is it surprising?

When people lose their hope of life under the incessant brutality and suppression throughout a long time, there is either an option to suicide or to surrender one's own conviction. I don't have any doubt that Nepali people did actually surrender with the Maoist cruelty.
Maoists! Ain't no cheers!

I don't know how long will it take to heal the Nepali people from this post traumatic stress disorder.

Bring them into justice before allowing them into the government!!! If they are not brought into justice and impunity just prevails, the souls of agonized and deprived Nepalese will never heal and never reconcile.

Op-Ed Contributor
Senator Biden: Drawing Your Attention To The Nepal Situation
Letter to the Editor

Urgent Letter sent to:

Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr.
Chairman, US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations

Re: Drawing your attention towards Nepal situation.

Honorable Senator,

We, Nepalese living in the United States feel the urgency to draw your attention to the Constituent Assembly elections held in Nepal on April 10, 2008. This Constituent Assembly election is considered to be historic in the sense it is the first in Nepal. The tendency clearly shows the Communist Party of Nepal- Maoist is coming victorious as against the baseless assumptions and analyses of the international community, the United Nations and the European Union. The United States also has to share the blame.

The US Government stood behind the Indian Government vis-a-vis Nepal and let the Indian Government which is a coalition of several parties including a few communists parties, take charge of Nepal matters. The Government of India by compulsion had to hand over its charge to the Communists of India in relation to Nepal because of a fear of its early collapse in case Communists withdrew from the government of India. Thus the US Government's support to Indian Government in relation to Nepal matters has been fully exploited by the Indian Communists. The result was evident.

The Communist Party of Nepal-Maoists which killed about 15,000 people mercilessly surfaced in the open with the help of Indian Communists, the coalition members in the Indian Government. The Government of India brought Nepal's unpopular political parties and Maoists of Nepal together, forced them to sign a deal against the Royal regime of Nepal. Indian Government provided them logistics to fight the Royal regime. Instead of coming to a major criticism from the international community, His Majesty King of Nepal had to listen to them and hand over power to the Seven Party Alliance (SPA) which was later joined by the Maoists and became SPAM (seven party alliance and the Maoists).

The international community, the EU, the UN and the US Government's assumptions and analyses that the Maoists will lose the Constituent Assembly election were completely wrong. As we have already put forth, the Maoists are becoming victorious though with the use of intimidation, extortion and with the communists' tactics of propaganda, there is no way except to accept the so-called people's verdict.

Honorable Senator, the Communist Party of Nepal is still in the US Government's terrorists list and it should continue to remain on that list. However, no government in the world can stop it from handling Nepal's affairs now. We human beings living in this very modern era must feel shame that the killer terrorists Maoists are about to run the beautiful country, Nepal.

Honorable Senator, the international community can minimize the tragedy that will unfold in the very near future if Nepal's Monarchy is saved and given continuation as the Constitutional Monarchy. Now, as the leading nation of the world, the US must take swift action to contain the rise of communists in Nepal thereby spreading rapidly throughout the South Asian region and so on. As the Chairman of the US Foreign Relations Committee, Honorable Senator, your role will be vital in saving Nepal's Constitutional Monarchy and containing the virus of the communist which does not believe in the basic human rights and freedoms.

Honorable Senator, we Nepalese living in the United States and all over the world request you to make the drastic move towards saving our beautiful nation, Nepal, from falling into the hands of Khmer Rouge type guerrilla communists of Nepal, namely, the Maoists. In order to contain them, the Constitutional Monarchy of Nepal has to be continued, first. Thank you.

With due honor,
Bishal Shah,

Why we Nepalese think that these Maoists, Parties and Monarchy is an internal issue.  It is a matter of complex foreign affairs and defense.  Common people have no understanding what is going on, and India is succeeding in destabilizing Nepal.   When the Kings of Sikkim, Nepal, Kashmir (Hyderabad and Gwalior) were offered to surrender the defense, and foreign affairs to India, everyone agreed and became the Union of India, except Nepal.  King denied, and since then, Monarchy became a problem for India.  To eradicate Monarchy, India started ruling through its proxy citizens—the Indian Bihari Prime Minister Girija Prasad being a common example in present days.   The Maoists lived in India, parties lived in India, were supported by India, and were successful in launching war against king.  If you read Sikkim’s history, India had successfully executed a plan like this.  I am afraid, Nepal can become another Sikkim.  Learn to understand the foreign affairs here, know India’s reality, and form ways to attack upon India.  Let Indians know what Nepal is.  Dare not Indians presume that we are Sikkimese.  Form a coalition of Nepal, Kashmir, Sikkim, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Tibet and other small countries who don’t like India, and invade it.  That will be the day when true Gurkha blood will show its color.

just take a look at their idealogy is it benificial for nepal????? i think it is aani yatro barsa aaru party laii time nadiyeko haina ghanta gare ta just everyone deserves a chance and despite the situation of country was bad let us hope that "Naya Nepal" will not just be a word...jay nepal

CPN(M) upholds 'Marxism-Leninism-Maoism and Prachanda Path', claiming that Prachanda's ideological contributions are an adaptation of Maoism in Nepalese context. It should be noted that in Nepali language, the ideology is called 'Malemabad ra Prachanda Path', Malemabad standing for 'MA(rx)-LE(nin)-MA(o)-ism'.

The Maoists announced a ‘People's War’ on February 13, 1996, with the slogan "let us march ahead on the path of struggle towards establishing the people's rule by wreaking the reactionary ruling system of state." They strongly believe in the philosophy of Mao Zedong that "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun" and that both military power must be subordinate to political leadership.

They also draw inspiration from the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement and Peru's Maoist guerrilla movement, the Communist Party of Peru, known as Sendero Luminoso. Communist parties from different parts of the world have provided ideological support for the Nepali Maoists. The ‘People's War’ aims to establish a ‘New Democracy’ in Nepal and constitutes a "historical revolt against feudalism, imperialism and so-called reformists." The immediate reason given by the Maoists for declaring the ‘People's War’ was the failure of the Nepalese Government to respond to a memorandum presented by its representatives to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on February 4, 1996. The memorandum listed 40 demands related to "nationalism, democracy and livelihood". These included among others the abolition of royal privileges and the promulgation of a new constitution, and the abrogation of the Mahakali treaty with India on the distribution of water and electricity and the delineation of the border between the two countries

ma pani 15000 manche marera desh bikash yekdam garchu, huncha? Sau Chuhe khakar bille haaj ko chale bhane ko yehi ho. No matter who ever did crimes, they must bring to the justice. I am talking about King, all the corrupt politicians and maobadis. There is no discipline and justice in Nepal. That’s why everybody’s Pashupati ma chadeko Sande jasto. Hunda Hunda ta Kathmandu ma bomb blast garne manche parne pani  (Mr. John) fking elected. As a Nepali, I am not gonna forgive none of those M_ther F_kers. Most of the casualties happened during Maoists insurgency were fking civilians. Someone gotta take responsibility. Lot of unethical things happened during that time. Who killed Madan Bhandari and Ashrit? Who killed their driver, Jivan Lama? Who killed Birendra and his family? Who killed those all innocent civilians during Maoists insurgency? YCL ko ta naam sune matra pani kaan tatcha sala mandale ka dad haina grandpa haru. Marne vo Nepal ma kamse kam 1 millions jati and I would be one of em’.
