King Gyanendra has sent congratulatory messages to Comrade Prachanda for his party’s thumping victory bagged during the just concluded CA poll.

High placed sources say that King’s Press Secretary, Mr. Phani Raj Pathak conveyed this message to Prachanda Saturday morning, April 19, 08.

Prior to this, one of the close relative of King Gyanendra and a business partner, Prabhakar S. Rana, too met the Maoists supreme commander last Monday, April 14, 08,  and congratulated Prachanda on King’s behalf.

During the meet with Prachanda, Mr. Rana is presumed to have told Prachanda, “The King is very happy and would be more than pleased to see you in person and congratulate you on your resounding victory”.

Sources close to the Royal Palace have told this website that the King has already “reconciled” his fate and may “quit” the Palace without much ado contrary to the rumors that the King may create troubles if told to vacate the palace voluntarily.

Interestingly, Prachanda too appears to be in a mood to talk to the King which he aired this Saturday evening while talking to Nepal television.

A close aide of the King, Mr. Bharat Keshar Singh too apparently hinted that since the Maoists command majority and thus if they remove the King or prefer to keep the institution intact constitutionally, nothing could be done against the Maoists will.

Analysts say that the King has already reconciled with his fate that is in the store for him. Prachanda too apparently has hinted that if the King voluntarily vacates the palace, it would create a new history in Nepal.

Nevertheless, since both King and Prachanda have expressed their fervent desire to see each other, the process of abolition of the monarchy will be a smooth affair. A thrilling mememnt that it would be when the two "estranged" personalities meet each other.

Let’s wait and see what happens in the days ahead.

Prachanda knows what is the best for his Mao party. He doesnt want any political confrontation at this time. He wants to pave more finer road Maoists party. He will let king walk out with some of his cash. So called "Graceful Exit"...makes me laugh hearing about it.

Here is what i think Maoists are thinking to pave finer path for them.

King: Let him walk away with some cash and bullshit ( Graceful Exit). This takes care of army loyalty. Once king is gone restructure the army with Maoists and have army work for yourself.

UML: Lure the power hungry corrupt so called communist party with some ministry in the name of coalition goverment and slowly make them irrelevant. Eventually they will prove to Nepali People that Maoists are better communists than UML. On General election most people who voted Maoists were not sure about Maoists power thus they voted UML.

Congress: Kiss Girija's ass for another couple years by calling him a great being. Similar to what Regan use to do to Gorbachev before he made Gorbachev worthless. No one loves attention and power more than Girija himself.

Madhes Party: Madesh party will see what it meant to kill their cadres in Terai few months ago. But it wont be now it will be when Maoist will have 100% control of the country.

Maoists know what they need to do now to make those so called political forces worthless in next year or two. They have the intelligence, dedication and resources to get this done.

Maoists will become democratically elected dictators, a new political term may be, they will hold elections every 4 years and win by huge numbers every where, may be this is where democracy fails.

Good Luck to Democracy

Maoist to Congress: Kiss Girija's ass for another couple years by calling him a great being. Similar to what Regan use to do to Gorbachev before he made Gorbachev worthless. No one loves attention and power more than Girija himself. You really hit the nail there sidster.

The changing face of democracy in Nepal: After 1/2  a decade or so in the name of Democracy Maoist might rule like Nepali Congress, duplicates of Govinda Raj Joshi, Khum Bdr will probably be born within Maoist party, and then later some Neo-Maoist will again be born and there again goes the circle.

Its like Bush government went to Iraq to eradicate Terrorists torture and themselves became terrorists (Abu-graib).
