If the company is ready to hire me........what kind of documents do I need to show to college for my opt to remain valid. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

p.s. Its a normal post completion opt. nothing complicated like STEM or whatever it is.

 

nothing, but i just got email from international advisor that u need to give the company address. Thats it, I think u already have ur I-20 endorsed for OPT.

You give company full address and nature of job description job position to International Advisior. They will issue I-20 for OPT with employers names address, job description and job position on the third page of I-20 with a valid OPT period. You also need to show the letter from the employer stating their intention to hire you.

My OPT starts dec 2007. But due to this new law, I have to show them that I work, in order to remain in status.

So I was just wondering what documents should I submit to the college, so that they can know that I am employed.

I guess you all know about this 90 days unemployement rule.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

just ask ur international adv. what they need...my case ..they just asked for company address

oh yeah, forgot to tell u,

 

my  OPT started from dec, and didnt have to bother abt school anymore, on somewhere in april , got email from international advisor to provide company address, and just e-mailed the address to them and thats it.
