I have Toyota Corolla 2000 Car. I have a driving history of 1 year in US and 3+ years in Nepal and I am 25+. I got my US Driving license just a year ago from Minnesota. Currently I am having my insurance with American Family and I am having only Liability coverage for my car. I feel like it’s expensive for me, since one of my friends is getting a full coverage, with the same amount I paid for liability, from some other insurance company. I want to go with the insurance company with low monthly payment. Please share your views based on your experience show that I can decide which one to choose!

Thanks,

I also have driving history in US of about 1 year.

I used to use GEICO for my 1994 Mitsubisi for Liability and was paying abt $48.00 a month.

Now, I have a different car and having Insurance (Full Coverage) from AMICA for about $85.00 a month

PROGRESSIVE rules....2 cars liability for about $50 a month....26 year old drivers, one with lots of violations including accident at fault. Thats was a great deal for me. Try Progressive. If you are in Minnesota, they are also rolling out the usage based insurance. The means you pay as you drive just as you fill up your gas....you'll need to plug in a device in your car that will track your driving behavior, i.e, your acceleration, braking , time of the day you drive, the location you drive and so on... Depending on this data they collect, you may qualify for a discount....Try Progresive's MyRate program if you are in MN.

I was a former GEICO customer, now AIG customer. For me GEICO was a expensive by couple of hundred. AIG was much cheaper with better customer service. You can get quotes from several companies and choose one based on price and customer service.

Hi,

I just purchased a car and an insurance. I got it from State Farm Insurance and I got it for $39 per month just for the liability..Why don't you give a call to State Farm local representatives and try for the cheapest price possible?
