I really like the way he expresses his feelings so candidly.
My First Day on the Blog
(Extract from his blog)
April 18, 2008 - 11:05 am
This has been an overwhelming revelation !!
I would at the outset wish to thank all those that helped me put up
this facility, at bigadda.com and compliment them for their efficient
and committed working. It seems like a new life altogether.
I have today opened my Blog to find hundreds of reactions and
inputs. Frankly i had never expected this. But now that i have , i am
committed to respond to them. There are several that need a personal
answer because of the nature of their queries or comments. I am going
to start doing that as i work on my set, in between shots.
For now as my first communication, i wish for a little patience for
me to get used to this facility and its technical operation. And as
soon as that is done, i shall be on the job.
This is therefore a general communication, but i will get down to personal responses in a while. Bear with me.
To those that have complimented my family and me, my career and my films - a very sincere thank you.
Some have questioned my films and what they entail in the future - i shall give them some idea of that.
Others have brought valid arguments for debate - namely the obvious
plagiarisationin films and my subsequent comment on my dislike for
western comparative attitudes - i shall put across my points.
There is a question on the reason for repeating my interviews on the
blog even though they have been read in print. Very valid, but with a
minor difference. Read the print in the newspaper and then minutely, my
official written responses and you will discover that all that i have
given has NOT been incorporated in the press. This is not an
accusation. Press has the liberty and the right to print, in their
assessment what they feel needs to go on their paper. But at times i
feel, all that i had to say and the manner in which it was said, can
and does give a different mentality to the interview. I would in all
fairness therefore, want the readers of my Blog, that take the trouble
to access it, be privy to facts as they were portrayed by me. And in
the true spirit of fairness allow the reader to judge what he thinks is
acceptable or not.
The Blog shall therefore give all of us an opportunity to interact
as freely as possible and not have to wait for, or be guided by,
another medium, which may not be as easily approachable as this Blog.
In conclusion, for the moment i wish to thank once again all those
that came on and apologize for not given them my personal attention. I
shall in time.
And one last matter.
Many that have written in, have expressed surprise that i being in
an exalted position have considered to talk , metaphorically, to the
‘common man’.
This is unacceptable to me. No one is ‘common’. We are all in God’s
world ’special’ humans, each one of us. Each one of us have qualities
unique and different from others. I do not and certainly not my family,
hold any kind of ’special’ status. I am as ‘common’ as the common man
and as ’special’ as him too.
My love and my regards to all the readers for entering my heart and providing me an opportunity to enter yours..
