any particular reason why you want to pursue MBA?  I would suggest you to continue with your engineering.  MBA is great if you have enough work experience and can get admission in top 50 program.  if you are fresh graduate, i would suggest you to pursue masters in engineering.

khusbu,

Great decision !!! Doing bachelors and masters in the same field, you won't learn anything significantly new. Mixing your technical skill with management skill, it can be a great asset for your future, after all everything boils down to business, whether it be engineering consultancies or hospital.

Do your MBA after gaining significant work experience. MBA is not just an academic course. It is an opportunity to network, explore and be visible to top headhunters. If you have NO work experience, MBA won't make much sense to you.

Even with MBA, unless from a top brand college, you won't be any better off finding jobs with both qualifications (B Engr + MBA) without work experience. On the other hand, B Engr grads with 4+ years of work experience and MBA are highly valued commodities.

want to thank all again....all these comments i'm sure will help me...and m bit in mood to extend this discussion...
well, when interest is not specific, best to be guided is by economy of the region i guess...
taking about the economy of the south east asia (not nepal) expecially india....engi+( no expereince) + mba's are selling easily and at high price.....and indian undergrad's can easily pursue mba via loan...
i dont know about the economy of usa....so can anyone give some idea about the wind in the air of usa...
is it more in da favor of be+ms or be communication+ mba

are'nt anyof we doing the same as i intend to do?
which colleg will accept welcome my intentioin?

khushu, like i mentioned above, MBA are great if you can get into very good schools, top 50 or so.  it is lot better in job prospect and pay with MS degree in engineering than MBA if you have MBA from an average school.  Also, most of the good MBA programs requires work experience and are very expensive.  what you can do is, come here in usa for masters in engineering and work few years and then you can go for MBA.

thanks again....all those comments clearly refelct affection towards me....i greatly appreciate ur efforts to curb down my boneheaded ignorance...but a little is still more to be done....
while i surfed...i found colleges offering dual package...mba/ms....with 42thou box for non resident and 32for residents...and chances of scholorship...my one yr experince may yield chances for little....keeping this fallpoint of little experience aside...
plz tell me is this achievable package for us....can we extend this given package from 2 yrs to 3 yrs..for collecting fees...would it be nice to do?......just a little more....i'll soon decide...from all ur advices...

best regards....

what college are you talking about?

When you say 'chances for scholorship', is that your interpretation (and hope) or the statement from college? clarification would be helpful in giving you sound advice.
