I just graduated  from a US college. I have a background in Mathematics and some programming.
I heard that there are IT consultancies which train you for a month or so and help you find a job. I am sure there are a lot of such consultancies here in US but can someone who has gone through this process or knows more about it suggest me some names that I could look up.
and on average how long do I have to wait before landing on a job from such consultancies? because I need to get a job within months.

depends on what training u wanna go for . but my personal advise try finding permanent jobs before you go to these consultancies.
