Its all the game of India. they want to devide nepal and make the Mades as there one Prades. Maoist and other political parties  should be corncern about the issue as soon as possible.

i think the best way of Terai problem solution is President to Rajaram Prasad, as India did by making Aubdul kalam , a muslim man as a president. otherwise there is no way because MJF has make strong hold on tarai so there is no option of arms and weapon (as Prachanda says).

 

I don't agree with you amricane.....Just to make them happy we need to appoint a Madesi Prez....No because if thats how all the problems are going to be solved then what about Tharu who are up and arms about One Madesh and One Pradesh and lived in Terai before Madesi even existed....BS solution to BS problem....Also there needs to be a process for one to be a president rather than everyone voting for it....Imagine parliamentarians arguing for presidency ever time there is election....There definitely need to be a set criteria to be a president....

BTW there are also huge population of Pahade and Indigenous people along with Tharu who have made their home in Terai so these people wanting to dominate over them would be a great blunder on Govt. and Madesi part.....As you can see Jhapa, Chitwan, Kanchanpur, Sunsari, Morang, Dang, Kailali, Banke, Bardiya, Butwal, Newalparasi, among other district there are huge population of Pahade and Tharus and other Indigenous lets see how they will control them.....There is a saying in Nepali that "Ghati hereh ra hard nilnu parcha" This is where the saying applies...

Inflation close to double digits Kantipur Report KATHMANDU, June 27 - Nepali inflation is picking up pace and inching close to double-digit figures, threatening to make some serious dent in the household budget of consumers. Fresh data released by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) shows that the inflation based on the consumer price index rose to 9.2 percent in mid-May, the tenth month of the current fiscal year, up from 4.6 percent of the same time last year. The central bank said the rising prices of food items led to the rise. Still, the inflation based on wholesale price index increased to 10.1 percent.  NRB officials said inflation would further rise in the coming months, as the recent price hike of petroleum products would have to be considered
