Hello folks,

I would like to know if I should go to Canada or Mexico to get my H1 stamp. I know many would say go back to Nepal, but I am kind of scared to do that as I have bad memories with the US consulate in Nepal. I simply don’t want to take chances.

Also my company is from Dallas and they can send a lawyer right away, if needed.

Has anyone been to Mexico lately? Or can anyone convince me, if Canada is better?

I think it depends upon your location in USA. I mean if you are near to Mexico go there else go to Canada. I beleive both places are safe for visa stamping. Even I haven't seen any problem in Nepal for visa but make sure to carry all documents.

Also make sure get letter from Depertment of labour before coming to USA otherwise in Nepal they may not allow to go.

Thanks

Prani
