Did you guys watch David Blains show last night? that was disappointing!! some possible answers i got from yahoo were:

1. I  think it was an equipment malfunction. I think he was supposed to jump, and before he would touch the ground, he would get sucked up into the sky and disappear.
He gave kind of a half-hearted wave to the crowd, which is why I think the trick didn`t go the way he expected it to.

2.

The light technician was supposed to cut the lights off when he "took a dive." The audience were not supposed to see the wire. when he landed, he would then detach the wire and the lights will go back on and it would appear to be as if he landed the jump.

So yes. There was a big F ^.

Plan B: they played it off with him bailing out into the darkness.

Failed magic tricks cant hurt reputation.

and that bullet trick..pure C.G.I

i thought, all he did was hung himself upside down for 60 hrs in NY's central park, but the illusion part of being batman didn't happen. Heard many were very dissappointed on his act.
