I think some of us may find krishnakale's writing little offending or irresponsible. Here is what I believe beyond her intention of publishing the picture of breastfeeding her child.
I think what Angelina did is the best thing she has done ever. Breastfeeding is good for both mother and baby, and it's not new thing, breastfeeding has been happening for hundreds of thousands of years. But in recent decades, many woman do not prefer doing it because they think, by breastfeeding, they lose their beauty or sexyness contributed by thier boobs. Angelina is beautiful and needs to preserve her sexyness in every way possible as her film industry requires a sexyness. Still she breastfeeds. This is the biggest message or lesson for all young women she can convey and thus she can inspire hundreds of thousands of women to breastfeed their children.
If you have seen the picture to be published in W magagine (you can find the front page picuture on the net), she has shown nothing, just the upper part of a side breast and a small hand of one of her twin babies on that part, where lower part including nipple and baby's head are fully covered by some blanket and the photo was taken by her own boyfriend, not by some professonal photographer. Hundreds of celebrities, including ones from Nepali and Bolliwood film industries or and hundreds of girls in your college/universities show off more of their breasts than what Angelina had flashed off in that picture.
This pictures tells only one thing - she breastfeeded her baby just like almost all of our (yours, mine, and almost everyone's) mothers freastfeeded us in those times and still many of our sisters or sister-in-laws have been doing it. Only difference is that her picture is on the front page of a magagine (because many people are interested to see every of her pictures whether bad or good) while our mothers' pictures were never taken even when they breastfeeded in public hidng the faces of babies and sensual part of their breasts.
She has been working as a goodwill embassador to the UN and she has donated millions of money for charity, she had herself picked up abandoned kids from orphange centers and raising them. She is overall a nice person and in my personal view, she was not doing it just for popularity. She does not need popularity by this way any more I guess (in the past, of course she did this various ways, including showing her full body.)
