I know the University is very good, but i was wondering how is it in terms of night life for a single guy, and any nearby big cities?? I am being offered an assistantship there, and i have been living in small cities for last 6 years. So for a change i am giving a thought about it.

Any Idea guys??

Poonhill,

Its totally a college town Just off I-81. So you know the night life for a college town. For big cities you might have to drive to DC which is around 5 hours or little less or to knoxville TN (if you consider a big town) which is like 3 and half hours. I know there are few nepali and also a nepali faculty.

I am working for the State Government currently, but the subject area of offered research area is very interesting related to Climate change, Glaciers melt, and Global Warming, and the field lab would be in Antartica. Can't get any better than that for an Environmentalist Nerd.

BTW i think you know me, do i know U??
