I had applied for Canada PR 4 months ago after graduating with MS degree in Civil Engineering.
I checked yesterday that Civil engineering is not among the 38 different occupations for federal elligibility.
I have not heard anything from immigration office. Anybody please tell me that I am wrong.

This sounds silly.... Canada is a pakhe country.. the stupid candians.. somany people already applied as civil, electrical, mechanical and chemical engineers after Feb 27, 2008. But they announced this new rule now only.... and saying cut-off os feb 27, 2008.. so if you applied after that cut-off date.. you are OUT.. Federal skilled worker applicants who do not meet the above criteria will be
informed of this and will have their processing fee refunded.
