Look at this photo. These are photos of former Policemen and Army men  who ran away from there work because of the threat to their life during Maoist insurgency. They left the jobs because of fear for their life during Army-Maoist conflict.

well, this is a wrong trend, power my the barrel and credit for irresponsibility. Now in a nation where we are heading for "je pani huncha kunai niyam kanoon chaina", I am not surprised by such calls and their promoted, paid for the period reinduction.

We are ripping off the dignity and work ethics of those people whose responsible acts in all odds have kept as hanging, now it is time we say boldly when "wrong is wrong". Our attitude to side with the power and silence for fear is the root cause of misery, let us have a principle and follow it.

If you ask me, no trhey do not deserve for those deserters when they failed for the nation. Betrayed once, they serve danger for the rest. They may have genuine reasons and logic, not to mention some underground organization but their inclusion will send a wrong message and support the scott free and wrong ones geting applauded.

yes and no. if this terrorist government tried to integrate their terrorist fighter to the national army  or if those terrorist fighter get some sort of job, yes, these people should get their jobs back too. but if no integration is made, no.

people who join police and army should know, they are there to save/protect and fight for the sake of the country and coutrymen. but.......if they quit during hard time it just does not make sense to take them back when they think the situation is favorable.

this is my personal opinion though. some of those personnel may have quit the job due to family threat. if that is the case, they should get the job back.

They are called deserter. These police and army men are lucky, if they were here in US they would have been faced court marshal. There are so many deserters from Iraq war in Canada. They asked for asylum but they are denied. If they get deported from Canada they would face imprisonment in US.

I believe these Nepali police and army men should be treated as deserters. These people (most of all ex-policeman I think) joined police to become rich by getting “Ghush” When country needed them they quit or ran away from responsibilities now they there are no threats and now they think they can get “ghush” without fearing for their lives, they want their job back. This is ridicules!

I personally think they shouldn’t get their job back. Period. If they keep protesting, throw these deserters’s ass in jail.
