Hi,

I am going through a stress, I know it is not new to get stress in united states . I had filed an extension for my B1/B2 visa ,unfortunately it was denied. I had recieved visa till nov 23rd 2008. According to immigration they have mentioned me to leave states within 1 month of getting these denial paper. So, I am leaving within 20 days to Nepal as they had told me.

I have got 2 years multiple visa from Nepal, but I am worring whether I should reapply for visa or not. secondly, when I come back to usa from nepal, will there be any problem regaring entry or port visa?

I would appreciate if anyone out there could share their experience or any confirmed ideas.

thanks,

doctor

Have to leave within a month as mention in the letter and you can come back after 6 months from the day you left the american soil. NO need to go to US embassy for visa extension unless your visa expires with in that 6 month time. Iam not a lawyer but its based on my knowledge..

Hope that helps and Good Luck

drnepal!
Can you please tell me how long it took for USCIS to tell you that the extension is denied? I've applied for extension for my parents B2 visa (on Dec. 1) but I haven't heard from since then. I received the receipt . The processing time period is feb 5.
